It's a great service you are providing for your fellowman David. If others read and pay heed to the hard learned lessons you are sharing here, just think how much better a place this world will be. Now, if only everyone was like you.

Thanks so much

Thank you SO much for taking the time to write this up! It was exactly what I needed- I was getting really close to being suckered into signing up for one of these (The Movie Downloads), but my warning bells were going off and I thought I probably ought to do a little more research. I even emailed their customer support and got a canned response about 12 hours later that didn't even address my question. Thanks again!

I wish I had seen your article sooner. I made the mistake of visiting "66stage.com" that advertises recent movies for download. You get redirected to "movielogin.com" "the number 1 site for movie downloads" to pay a membership fee of $29/year. After you pay it you find that you are now "allowed" to download an unlimited amount of material from You Tube or the free portion of Hulu. They also have a site that has very old movies (clicking "recent films" displays some no name films from the 1980s) that you can find elsewhere on the net for free.
None of the films listed at 66stage are available.
